After conducting the Discovery Phase, Inoxoft delivered a custom web platform with role-based access, which allows customers to easily book their requests and drivers to manage their work successfully. And a comprehensive admin platform that manages all the financial transactions.
Such a digitized platform is an excellent opportunity for customers to get residential and commercial removals services from experienced drivers who offer excellence and reliance in all aspects of its service.
Certainly, no one's willing to cooperate with providers who would neglect their clients. Hence, finding a trustworthy removal company can be an arduous task. Understanding all the subtleties and nuances of the freight industry and their customer's needs, our client wanted to create a convenient platform that would connect people with reliable removal drivers.
There are two types of access to the platform with different functionalities:
Each driver must register on the platform to have their own profile with all the required information: general vital info, insurance, provided services, and upload media files, including photos and videos of their cars. Integration with Stripe lets them connect their banking accounts to receive money for providing services.
Depending on the car size (small, medium, large, or luton), the driver sets the price with a minimal sum provided by the platform. Drivers receive a notification via email and SMS in case of a transfer request. With the help of their personal custom-made calendar, drivers set their working hours and choose the automobiles they will use.
To start using a web platform, customers must enter point A's and B's postcodes. Next, they can either already pick the van size or list the items they would like to transfer. The system will recommend the size of the car that would perfectly fit all the belongings, thanks to the calculations. Customers can also require additional help from a driver or more people (up to 3) to load and unload items, as well as dismantle or assemble them. If there's a need for additional stops, they can specify it.
Finally, the platform will show the estimated time for the travel in general, plus loading, unloading, dismantling, and assembling times, which customers can change. Our skilled QA manually calculated all the prices, considering different possible cases, items’ parameters, and London’s zones division.
Then, they get a list of drivers' profiles who are available at the time. At the end of the journey, the request automatically goes under the “completed” status on the platform.
Inoxoft’s team also provided a bespoke admin panel that helps the client easily find, manage and edit all the statements, invoices, and sales credit invoices. Our client has access to the management tool in Django administration, which allows them to review drivers’ documents. In addition, we created an auxiliary filter tool that helps them to manage the information more efficiently and securely.
