Azure is a cloud service used in programming that has been created by Microsoft. This service was released first as “Windows Azure” in February 2010 and then renamed to “Microsoft Azure” on March 25, 2014. Microsoft Azure is used in building, managing, deploying, and testing applications and services through the data centers under Microsoft’s control. Azure supports third-party provider- and Microsoft-based programming languages, tools, and frameworks.

Azure offers cloud services such as Software as a Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS). Also, it provides database services.
