INOXOFT developed a web application that lists jobs for a logistics company. The team used Next.js and React to build the front end. The backend was made using a third-party CMS.
The product offers a much more streamlined recruitment process, leading to more qualified applicants within a short timeframe. Proactive and communicative, INOXOFT responded quickly to inquiries and effectively addressed concerns. Their friendly approach set them apart from other providers.
Please describe your company and your position there.
We design lovable brands that people love interacting with. I am a co-founder and creative lead. We have a small core team and work with a broad range of third parties who are best in class at what they do.
For what projects/services did your company hire INOXOFT?
We developed an employer branding campaign and a job listing website for a major player in the logistics market. INOXOFT was approached to develop the front and back end of the entire application.
What were your goals for this project?
We had a limited budget to work with and high demands in terms of quality for a fully responsive job-listing application with an advanced javascript front end but also great SEO. INOXOFT implemented a Next.js / React stack that does the job perfectly.
How did you select this vendor?
We were already working with INOXOFT on a long-term project together with a third-party investor. INOXOFT seemed a natural go-to vendor to involve in this project.
They were able to come up with a roadmap and budget that fit our expectations. As we already knew they would be able to deliver quality-wise, the decision was easy to make.
Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.
They proposed the full application stack and they identified certain risks within the project, based on our textual documentation and Adobe XD prototype. To combine a modern front end with good crawl ability by search engines, Next.js + React was chosen to create the front end.
For the backend, headless CMS Contentful was used. This provided lightning-fast deliverability of textual content as well as media, and great scalability in terms of performance.
Additional services to piece everything together were found in Uploadcare to manage secure uploads, Atlas Mongo for minor data storage, and Heroku for Node.js cloud hosting.
What was the team composition?
The team consisted of a project lead, two QA staff, and two developers. The scope of the team did not change.
Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
Our client has invested in a solution that allows them to recruit new talent without the need for third-party recruiters. This is a great cost-efficient solution that yields them more freedom and power in their recruitment efforts. They are now on track to achieving their goal to hire a great number of additional staff within a foreseeable time frame.
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
We'd have a weekly Hangouts call with the project lead to sync up, and in addition, INOXOFT set up a separate Slack workspace with our team and all of their developers to quickly address questions and issues.
On occasion, e-mails were sent to address more complicated matters. Everyone involved at INOXOFT was proficient in English.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
We appreciated their flexibility and their obvious joy in helping us solve our problems and challenges. Especially this joy is something that other vendors sometimes lack. In the end, everyone wants to have a good time and enjoy their jobs, no matter how serious. A smile every now and then is priceless.
Are there any areas for improvement?
Little room for improvement! If I had to mention anything, a more visual approach to the roadmap would make things even clearer.
